Change git default master to main

Hello, is there any way to change default branch name to master when we create a new project in designer?  

Why when we want to switch branch, when we set new project name there an error "Project does not exist" and if we choses an existing project it says "Project already exist". How to pass this?

Changing the default is not currently possible but we've noted this feature request in our backlog.
