Hadoop Connectivity on Community Edition

Thanks for the previous responses they were very helpful.

Is one able to connect to a Hadoop cluster in general using the Community Edition of DSS, or is that an Enterprise feature only?

This should be possible in the Community edition, yes. Have you had any difficulties?

Note that if the hadoop connectivity is installed after DSS, one needs to rerun the script that detects hadoop configuration, see http://answers.dataiku.com/104/how-to-connect-to-hadoop?show=104 for details.



Edit 2016: Hadoop connectivity is now indeed an Enterprise feature only (at the same time, the 100K lines limit on the Community Edition has been removed). See http://www.dataiku.com/dss/editions/ for details.
